Day 1 – Bugesera, History and heritage
Leave your hotel, drive south of Kigali to Bugesera area,visit Ntarama and Nyamata genocide memorial churches. These two were worship places before the genocide but due to a big number of people that were killed within during the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi, they are no longer operating as churches they became the genocide memorials. After that visit you will have a Picnic lunch, afternoon, visit a community based projects and then drive back to Kigali for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 – Nyanza- Huye, Cultural visits
Leave Kigali in the morning and drive south of the county for a full day cultural discovering trip. Stop in Nyanza, visit both King’s palace museum and cultural village, See Inyambo show and then Proceed to Huye for lunch, City tour in afternoon which stops at the national museum. Diner and overnight.
Day 3 – Mata-Huye, Tea and Coffee experience
Leave Huye early in morning and drive to Mata tea factory for a tour of the factory and tea fields to learn about the from crop to cup process and the benefit of tea to the community around it, after you will drive to Huye Mountain to see the coffee plantation and have the processing experience, Picnic lunch on the road before you drive back to Kigali where you reach in the late evening, freshen up, relax, and then go for dinner at a local restaurant with African food. Transfer back to your hotel or airport
